I Just wanted to share my absolute disgraceful experience at the dealership where I was left completely shocked and stunned by how I was treated. I have purchased a new Mercedes GLE from the dealership which as you know is quite an expensive vehicle and I have paid this car expecting a showroom finish and to be delighted with my purchase, but this went completely sideways. I had arrived there and had to find the car myself without anyone helping me, the advisor that sold me the vehicle decided not to come in. the car was not prepped, I was told it was valeted and this was from even being clean or washed let alone being valeted. It was completely dirty inside, filthy, and the gentlemen had asked me if I wanted the car cleaned but this should have already been done on my arrival. The vehicle required 2 rear tyres which I was uniformed about and then they are expecting me to pay for them and came up with the excuse of them being road legal which was appalling to hear as I am spending that much money and the thought of paying for tyres makes me completely dumfounded. The car had stone chips all over the bonnet and bumper where they needed to be repainted. I had to ask several times to test drive the car to make sure everything was okay, but they didn’t even let me drive it and used the excuse of there not being anyone I could go on a test drive with, when I have purchased the car why am I not allowed to drive it. They did not show me the paperwork for the car which I had requested. I had dealt with about 5 employees where they were running around like headless chickens not knowing where the logbook is or even the service paperwork. They even refused to show the HPI on the car which is important when purchasing a car but was not even able to see this. I did not know I was at a car boot sale rather than a Mercedes Dealership. Even the manager spoke to me so rudely saying what’s up as if I’m a 5-year-old kid who himself kept insuring me the car was 1 previous owner and when I checked the logbook it was 4 owners. No one had the audacity to apologise to me after I was treated with disgusting behaviour from the board, and I hope no one purchases a car from here and don’t wish this customer experience on any person that walks into their showroom. I would suggest staying away from this place. Having taken possession of the car, the discs and pads are juddering all over the place which I am not happy about as It is affecting how the vehicle drives and is very unsafe to sell the car like this.
