Great service until I drove away

When I saw the car and took it for a a test drive, the battery was flat. Myself and the mechanic I took with me highlighted this as an area for concern and was assured it would be sorted. A little over a month after I bought the car, I had to call the RAC out as the battery was flat. I contacted the garage and asked them to contribute to the cost of replacing it but they have declined and advised it has nothing to do with them. I've spoken to several mechanics and they all say that a healthy battery wouldn't have died in 30 days. I'm incredibly disappointed and would be reticent to recommend this dealer to anyone else.
