Purchased a vehicle from birtley motorpoint in march 23 gave it the quick once over had a little test drive, during the paperwork process the sales assistant said it had a full service history. I checked the paperwork to find the vehicle had not been serviced in 2022 sales assistant apologised. I took this up with the service manager who told me that it was down to the owner, who could choose the 2 year service option. I visited my local dealer service centre for confirmation, they said the vehicle is registered as a fixed service plan, which basically means every year or 10,000 mls whichever comes first. So I was told a load of rubbish by the sevice manager. I drove the vehicle home and found water leaking into the footwell from the window wiper/washer system quite badly. In the paper work they gave me on the inspection sheet it had a section to test which they had dealer stamped but not tested. I have on going issues with my vehicle, which motorpoint are eventually going to fix so they tell me. If you are thinking of using motorpoint take the time to read the T and C's so that you realise. You only have 7 days to try and return the vehicle to get a full refund if your not happy. Motorpoint sound great showrooms look great but if you have any issues wuth your vehicle dont be dissappointed if they take months to sort out, maybe your warranty will run out in that time too.
