Crooks caught out

I bought a car for my daughter and picked it up the day it was MOT'd. On the way home there was an awful noise coming from the engine. I took it to my local garage (on my way home). It had 3 bulbs out, a broken reflector, sils were corroded through. A broken Flexi on exhaust (which it failed on) but was passed through. Air con unit was faulty but to be fair isn't a failure, I called them and told not there issue as I'd taken extra warranty. After going back to them they decided to take a look, and the supposed mechanics they use in an Un-named unit inside the scaffolding unit round the corner butchered the car. They cut the Flexi off and badly welded in another peice that was too big, which made the exhaust out of alignment and rattle off the bumper and underside of the car. Also because they have to lower the suspension for that job they broke that too. After 6 months of going back and forward through the finance company, who were excellent. The dealer said we'll MOT it again and if it fails we'll fix it. It went through again and failed on a ball joint with no advisories. After doing some research, the MOT station in Shotts where they take it has been previously reprimanded for writing Mot's for cash and the place round the corner that they get there cars repaired don't even have a name and they can't even give me a note of what work they did do. Every time before and after the car went to Netherton, it went into 2 local garages to me to make sure I knew what damage was being done. Not to mention that it done 70 miles from when I dopped it off to pick up. All this time I had been dealing with the Finance Company First Response who were excellent. After they found out the dealership of wrong doing. They asked me to find out, what was wrong with the car. It totalled £1900 of damage, which the Finance company paid. Please don't buy a car from these crooks, it took me 9 months of stress and worry to resolve this. There are also things that have been done to the car but can't prove.
