Ongoing major complaint

Major ongoing complaint. Dealership in receipt of funds, could not drive vehicle away on collection major fault less than a mile away (with young child in the car). Sales manager and team extremely hostile to deal with and uncooperative in agreeing to repair car (change mind/withdraw agreed actions). Sales manager even told me he had no idea re cooling off periods and not relevant, despite me quoting consumer rights act and them being a partner of The Motor Ombudsman! Very worrying - serious staff training needed. Attitude has been well it’s a second hand used car what do you expect - it’s a 2014 Mercedes from a large dealership so I expected better. They have my funds and car and I am going through hell trying to resolve what should be a simple resolution. Worth noting, the large finance intermediary we used has put mark against jct600 group and will no longer finance cars bought from any of their sites as this is such an ordeal we are being put through. (This may change subject to outcome) Have referred to legal team, complaint submitted to motor ombudsman and waiting on Sales Director to make contact. Will edit review as to how this is resolved.
