My husband and I visited Newport Ford to test drive a Kuga. We had been looking for a car for some time and had decided the Kuga was the one we wanted. I planned on purchasing the Kuga through a personal lease and was honest with Ryland Cooper about the . Ryland could not match the quotes we had been given and because he knew he was unlikely to get a sale refused to let us test drive the car. I went to Newport Ford as it is the main dealer and thought that even if I didn't purchase the vehicle direct from them ford would benefit from the sale as I would buy the Kuga. Ryland said he was not going to waste his time with us if we weren't going to buy from him. My husband and I were quite shocked at his attitude and unprofessional approach. We left the showroom and went to Nissan to test drive the Qashqai. We were met by warm, helpful staff and we have now decided to go with the Qashqai and nit the Kuga. This is a shame as the Kuga would have been our first choice. We will be making an official complaint to the owners about Mr Coopers approach.
