Terrible Warranty Service
I bought a 2020 plate Seat Tarraco from this dealership, my second car which I have purchased from them. On operating the handle which lowers the second row of seats the hinge snapped. I contacted the dealer to ask them if it could be replaced under warranty to which I was informed that it was likely wear and tear and that for investigation work I would have to pay £150 investigation charge. When asked who deems the repair a wear and tear item I was told it was the garage who decides (I can guarantee it will be deemed wear and tear). They then said that they would call me back, nothing. I rang a second time and they had 'system issues' and a second call back was scheduled, nothing. I contacted them a 3rd time at which point they did book the car in but once again informed me of the £150 charge which might apply if they didn't deem it warranty work (material failure is warranty work on a car that less than 3 years old). The gentlemen on the phone then informed me that the earliest date the car can be booked in for investigation is 12th May 2023, 3 months later and just after the warranty comes to an end! Is this a joke, I can book a service for next week but as soon as they might have to pay out it can't be done for months? its safe to say its the last car I will be buying from them.
