Great car, woeful aftercare.
Buying the car was a great experience. Since then, no one replies to emails, no one phones back when they say they will and if you complain it gets escalated to more senior people who don't reply to emails. If you want a mini do get one but I'd be exceptionally wary of buying any service that requires you to interact with them once it has been driven off the forecourt. Before deciding to write this I: Phoned asking to book my car in for a valet. I was told they weren't sure if they did the valets they told me I was entitled to when I bought the car but would check and call me back. They never called back. I emailed after I'd scratched the boot of the car. I received a reply to say they'd be in contact in 4 hours. They never did. When the car was due a service I let mini know about my previous 2 experiences. I was told the free valets were "just a wash and vac" giving the impression that it was OK to miss out on them because they were a bit crap. I complained and a very nice man apologised, offered money off the service and said he'd make sure did what they said from now on. I emailed to book it in. I never got a reply.
