I was the owner of one of the biggest accident management companies in the UK for 25 years. Cars involved in accidents that are not repaired under an insurance policy, are categorised subject to damage. If a vehicle is too badly damaged, it is not allowed back on the road. There are thousands of vehicles damaged every month in the UK. The chances of you buying a car that could have been accident damaged and repaired in the past are high. To buy a car where you are told what damage has been caused through accident and repaired by a professional repairer and the vehicle is 25% cheaper is usually great value. I bought a car that was CAT S, from these guys, I asked what the damage had been and checked it over. Bought the car, collected it the day after, fully valeted, for £13250.00. This car would be £18k to £20K without the CAT S. Car drives perfect. You get what you pay for. If you don`t know what you are looking at, pay the AA or RAC to check it out. Do not be put off with CAT S or CAT N. If the car has been repaired properly you could get a bargain.
