I bought a pre-owned car in the morning from Inchcape Stockport, drove it home, parked it and then found it wouldn't start when I wanted to go out in the afternoon. The AA got it started for me, but advised me that the battery was completely dead and so I would have to drive it straight back to Inchcape. They did replace the battery, but it took a full week to do. Having picked up the car for a second time and driven it home I noticed it had acquired a dent, but because I had driven the car away, they won't repair it. Unfortunately, this follows similar problems with my previous car when it was serviced at Inchcape, Macclesfield. Perhaps it's company policy to do this sort of thing, I wouldn't recommend as aftercare is dreadful. Use VW World.
