Awful behaviour to a potential customer
Spoke to Daniel on 23rd jan after seeing a Fiat 500 for sale via the Carguru website. Answered my questions fine so I booked a test drive for Sat 4th Feb. Jack rang two days later (25th Jan - not really sure why) but I confirmed test drive was booked for 4th Feb. I then rang back on 26th Jan to pay a £50 holding deposit to take the car off the market as I was worried it may be sold, all seemed ok with this and it was confirmed car was now "off the market" We arrived on Sat 4th Feb a 40 mile journey) to test drive the car only to be told by Jack that it had been sold to someone else the day before. He had no explanation about how this could possibly happen, but asked "did you not get a phone call about it?" - why would we be stood there if we had received a flipping phone call!!!!! We had no option but to leave and drive home, he said he would process the refund of the £50 immediately and whatsapp the receipt to me, I asked if he could see his way to adding a few pounds on top to cover some of my wasted petrol - he said he would need to ask his boss I had ot ring 3 hours later to chase up the refund and I then received a whatsapp message showing the receipt and a message saying his boss wouldnt let him pay anything towards my petrol AVOID these cowboys!!!!
