Would have been 1 star but for Mitko

Needed a replacement EV for one stolen in July. Was recommended by my brother in law as Hyundai couldn’t supply one. We needed a replacement quickly as my wife was undergoing hospital treatment. Had a test drive in a Niro and was told if ordered now delivery would be September/October 2022. In October I rang the salesman to be told now November because the car was being built in Slovakia. No courtesy call. I explained the need for a car, but was basically told they couldn’t help. Fortunately my son was able to lend us his car for three months. No contact from the dealer during this time. Had to get another car because my son needed his car back. Decided to ‘risk’ Shelly Motors again and was introduced to Mitko. He was so helpful and we bought a Rio to tide us over. Chatting with him he told us the car was built in South Korea not Slovakia. In January we were told the car would be available possibly late January. At the end of January this was confirmed and they needed the funds by 30th January. I arranged a bank transfer and emailed the salesman to confirm payment made, but heard nothing from him. Rang him on 31st and left message, no response. My wife rang them and spoke to the Sales Manager who confirmed payment received. Collection was arranged for 6th February and Mitko took over dealing with us. He was great and gave us a fair price for the Rio. He gave us a good run down on the Niro. If it wasn’t for Mitko I would have scored Shelly Motors 1 star. The basic lack of communication from the original salesman was awful.
