Bad experience & Deposit NOT returned

Our experience below will be on his own CCTV so I hope he goes through it before giving one of his standard responses. I was with my 60 year old dad to help him get a car and we both had a terrible experience. We were let in on appointment and saw our preferred car battery being charged. He did not even bother coming down to talk about the car. He just made one quick interaction, saying if we wanted to talk business, to go up to his office. We wanted to ask what kind of accident the car had been through, as we found dents and it seemed the bonnet was refurbished, however when asked he had no interest to engage with us and said he has another appointment in 5 minutes. I really think he thought we’d driven 2 hours to do a quick exchange of 35k just like that. So, we simply walked to the entrance to leave. At this point he came down the stairs and became behaviour aggressive and muttered words i cannot mention here due to policy but his cctv can verify. We just had to leave to avoid a commotion. Bear in mind I was with my 60-year-old dad and we both got pushed out. I can only assume he was trying to provoke a reaction from us to find a way of keeping the £500 deposit which he still has not returned and for which we are currently seeking advice. We did call a few times, but he just puts the phone down. Simply avoid.
