They can't be trusted
I didn't think it would be possible for this to happen but I ordered my Q4 e tron in February and paid a £2000 deposit. In summer I got a call from the sales rep that everything was all on track for an end of 2022 delivery. In October when I called up to get a delivery date, I was told my car was never ordered! How it can be possible to take my money and not place the order is beyond me. Then with all that done, I was told I could either: (a) put a new order in and wait another 12 months, (b) order a different spec Q4 with a different body shape that could be available in 6 months, or (c) have my money back. There was no effort to actually make up for their mistake. I asked what else they could do and all I was told was it would be escalated to the manager. Needless to say I never heard anything back. Fortunately, Tesla were all too happy to help and reckon I’ll have a car I actually want by February.
