PLEASE PLEASE AVOID!!!!!
Where do I start the problems with the vehicle and dealership are endless. Firstly the vehicle i purchased a Mitsubishi outlander reg WV13 VUW. I traveled over 4 hours to collect the car yes maybe I should have viewed the car before purchasing but i'm person that would rather put trust in someone how i learnt a big lesson. I took the car for a quick test drive and the first thing i noticed was the air conditioning was doing a whistling noise which good old google said the could be a cracked pipe which when i returned to the dealership (Ish) the owner jumped in straight away and said the air con must be low and filled it up yes great but shrugged off that there could be a possible fault. I then made the journey home and It took just 3 hours of driving for the problems to begin. There was a problem with the ACC and the engine management light came on then on the same journey i had DPF system problem. I contacted the owner Ish and we arranged for the car to go to a Mitsubishi specialist to check and resolve. After only looking at the car for 30 minutes the garage called me asking me to return as there was several problems with the car. Now bare in mind as i purchased the vehicle by viewing photos and conversations with the owner i was told the car is in great working condition I did query the MOT as on previous MOT's there were advisories of corrosion but on the new MOT that gets done at the dealership there were no advisories which Ish replied with saying this has all be repaired and resolved and there no problems. When i returned to Mitsubishi i was handed a health check with an unbelievable amount of problems listed. There were faults with the following: -throttle body and gaskets. Manifold cracked. -Turbo passing oil Excessively. -oil passing through turbo system leaking from o/s inter-cooler pipe. -Air con condenser leaking (Which was shrugged off at the beginning.) -Bearings, NSR corroded and the would need replacing. All in all some of the parts required to repair the car was mounting to over £6,000 alone. I was even told the corrosion on the rear bearing was so bad the ABS sensor wire wasn't even attached and should have been replaced and would have failed an MOT. So the fact this car passed an MOT a couple of days before on without any advisories is absolutely shocking and put myself and family at risk. I then contacted Ish as you can imagine was so annoyed and angry. But instead of trying to help me straight away i had to chase him was constantly ignoring me saying he would call me back and wouldn't and then best thing was i had Ish swearing down the phone to me and the best thing was when Ish said don't listen to Mitsubishi they are a main dealership and will over exaggerate the problems absolute joke. This dealership is absolutely shocking and shouldn't be operating as a business they are putting people at risk with Bad MOT's and clearly this isn't the first time i have seen previous reviews from other people and they have had the same problems. Eventually they agreed for the car to be returned and they paid the funds back for the vehicle. Please people do not buy from this dealership. I could keep going on with the experience I received but i think i have said enough for you to see the problems you will potentially face. And the best thing the car has been put back up for sale for the same price.
