Poor response to complaint, go elsewhere

Had an MOT and service which included 2 new front tyres - within 1 week one had a serious leak, called to book it back in and was told this would be 10 days - obviously I can't wait that long so took it to a local mechanic for replacement. Called Stoneacre and asked for a return of the cost of the original tyre as suspect it was not fitted correctly, was told they would need to see it in their workshop first - i do understand the reasons for this but as i was initially told 10 days by their booking centre, i had already taken it elsewhere for a fix. Been a good customer here for years now and I'm buying a car in the New Year, would have considered going to these guys as I've previously had nothing but a good experience - but will not be using their services again and would not recommend to others based on how they have handled my issue. Go elsewhere is my advice
