Worst experience with a Volvo service.

I have booked a small service and MOT for my Volvo XC90 T8 PHEV. I left the car at the service without having any issues or any errors. Previous years all was good and I was expecting to take less that 2 hours, but it took 4 days. Without informing me and without my consent they have decided to outsource/drive my car to another MOT station (not Volvo service) in Gloucester. Previous 3 years their Volvo qualified technicians have inspected the car and I have received from them the vehicle safety inspection report with all green passed, no advisories or remarks. This year, the driver decided also to go and buy a coffee with the car, after it failed the MOT, but they lied to me saying that the driver needed to go to toilet. I showed them the movies from dashcam and pictures from car journal and they didn't want to recognise that they have damaged my car on the way to the other MOT station and the driver used it privately. The manager told me that for 3 years in a row, the Volvo trained technicians were not able to spot the issues with the lights and that the person from a non Volvo service did actually a better job. That's the best advertising a manager can do for his service! So, what if they forgot to change the oil and the engine will be damaged in time? How I can prove that this will be their fault? What if the person who serviced my car, forgot to deactivate the air suspension when performed the service and the air suspension will be damaged in time? How to trust them, when on their website they say that the car will be serviced and inspected by Volvo trained technicians, but instead they are outsourcing the cars to non trained technicians and not Volvo service for MOT? It's a huge disappointment that good cars are damaged by services. They should take care of them, but instead they are doing the opposite, just to make some money and keep clients busy. It's a shame!
