Great Sales Pitch, but bad after service

Beware, Eddie is the perfect salesman, kind charming and friendly personality from the sales patter he gives you the impression is that the car you buy is a genuine top of the range car for the best price from a premium dealership. To be fair the cars on the small forecourt give you the impression of a decent selection of cars. However once you have made the decision to purchase the car and pay the money knowing that you have the best possible guarantees for the money you just spent. RAC warranty (gold) RAC breakdown and a RAC approved garage. what could go wrong...... well when it does go wrong the RAC side becomes a reality, not quite the Standard but worse. ... The Eddie salesman becomes the not so good after salesman... 5 days after sale and a fault occurs (Gearbox Fails). RAC warranty only covered there part to a lower value of the repair bill, Eddie offers 50% of difference in cost then changes mind, we foot the bill to get the car back. Then same day the cars collected from the first fault another fault occurs (Brakes) more serious and Eddie wants us to drive the car over 2.5 hours away to check the fault.. so again its costing us more money to rectify.. Plus note.. check the vehicles history especially its last mot failures.. VOSA are interested in these.. Dont go to buy unless you have your own Mechanic in tow as you might need them... never had to leave a post about a garage before but this time its a must.
