DO NOT USE MOTORPOINT

I was mis-sold a car last year by motor point, I paid for a kia Sportage in which I was told the car had full service history and was priced as having full service history. After money was taken it then came to light that it had missed its first service, making the kia warranty void. They accepted liability and provided me with a letter of indemnity to cover any costs should kia not provide the warranty due to the missed service. This would obviously cause me problems if I came to sell the kia so when I was offered the letter of indemnity i asked if the letter went with the car and they said they would provide a new letter to the new buyer as this car was missold to myself by motorpoint . They are now refusing to honour this and basically have shut the door on the case. They sold me a car priced with full service history, lied about the service history then lied about the indeminty letter, they even had the cheek to offer to buy the car of me at a ridicoulous price. Do not deal with them, we even took insurance out with them which they failed to activate and again offered us some car mats as compensation to their incompetence. Trying to get in touch with them is also pointless you get passed from pillar to post and have to repeat the issue endless times, you also get promised you will get a call back but this does not happen. If anyone is thinking of going to Motorpoint and purchasing a car I would seriously reconsider, they are only interested in the SALE no matter what it takes.
