Misleading and gave false information

Part exchanged my mini for a Hyrbid Countryman. Was assured by the sales person it would do 25 miles on the electric but turned out to only do 16. When I called to ask what was going on they asked me to bring it in for a service which found the car to only do 16 miles. A new sales person then called me to say that even the latest models are barely capable of doing 20 and that they shouldnt have promised me 25. I returned the car for my original one as they had mis sold it. To "make up for it" they said they would "Take care of my brakes", because my original mini had needed new brake pads. They call me during my service to tell me that new brakes would be £800. But they had "looked after me on the brakes" by taking off £100. I said that the sales team had indicated they would cover the cost of brakes. The sales team then called to say "Take care of your brakes" actually meant "a substantial discount" and that was the best they could do. Mini make 7 cars, their sales have no excuse to not know the range of them in any context. They did the absolute bare minimum to cover themselves and used misleading language at every stage. Do not trust these dealers
