I saw a vauxhall astra estate which went live on auto trader with no picture, it was a w reg with 31000 miles i phoned up and they said car was coming it but was a part exchange. i called back after an hour to be told car was now there but it was dirty and had a few stains in the back. i said maybe i should come back when its clean and they advised it was better to view before anyone else. When i asked what condition it was in they said excellent clean well looked after and well maintained. So i took the risk and travelled 30 miles to view. OMG i have to say it was the worst car i had ever seen. it was filthy and wet inside which looked like someone had thrown up on all carpets, there was chocolate cake in door pockets claw mark all over plastic in the passenger and driver seating areas. The boot carpet was soaking and just filled with dirt, all sills were badly scratched, wheel trims all broken, The best thing was the engine. But it honestly looked like it had just been pulled out of a lake and dried out for a month. They told me it would go off to be valeted and would come back looking like new and if i wanted it i would have to leave a deposit or the car would have the price put up to £1995 instead of £995 because of the valet, so i asked……Do you normally sell cars that are in that bad state and he said we didnt know it would be like that and that if i left a deposit they would change all wheel trims and if i was not happy with the car when i came to pick it up after the valet then they would return my deposit, If i did not leave a deposit but came back to view after the valet then i would have to pay the higher price. The other cars there looked dirty. The place where they are is not very nice. Take your money elsewhere as it will be the worst mistake of your life.
