Terrible Experience
Speaking from experience, Marshall’s is probably an entity that you may wish to stay clear from and here’s why; purchased a Polo under approved used scheme in April 2022. This was the second one we had as the initial car had faults and thus, exchanged, and so does the new one, woohoo!! The car I purchased from Marshall’s group just doesn’t simply drive in a straight line, and veers to the left. Meaning the whole time you’re driving, you’re wheel is at a 20 degree angle to go straight, but according to Sales Executive Mark Lewis, this is completely normal for a Polo GTI..? Therefore I should just enjoy it how it is? 3 attempts have been made to rectify and they still cannot sort the problem. Elliott Crosby, the Sales Manager never calls back as promises nor responds to any customer emails. As a customer I feel completely fobbed off by this dealer and feel like I’m a massive inconvenience every time I have to report an issue. Hopefully allowing a buy back for me and I shall take my business elsewhere. I’m hoping that Marshall’s will for once pose me something responsible, take accountability and allow me to hand the car back over without getting VWFS involved. After sales manager was only helpful guy. My own local VW dealer after sales manager handed the car back to me and said that the car doesn’t drive right, but seems to intricate for steering alignment and sounds way more serious …still not enough for Marshall’s to believe though…new customers, beware of the low standards of vehicle condition and lack of customer support from the staff here.
