Wouldn't trust them, Dodgy MOT

Purchased a vehicle from the dealership online through a third party finance company. Travelled 87 miles to view and pick up the car today. The car was supposed to have had a clean MOT 8 days ago. Upon arrival checked car over, car was found to have worn brake pads, discs worn to the point there was a lip on the disks the width of a penny, perished wiper blades, all of which should have been picked up on an MOT which haven't. I'm not blaming the dealership as its down to MOT tester. But Keith became quite abrupt when told we wouldn't be taking the vehicle. And tried to say how would I know what should pass on an MOT. So the real question is does he know what his MOT tester is doing or is he unaware, either way he needs to find a better MOT tester, DVSA has been informed of this particular vehicle and the MOT test.
