Warning Stay Away
Don't go anywhere near this place, I bought a car with a so called 3 months warranty They have a poster for Warranty Wise on the wall who are a reputable National coverage service. I had a fault and they insist I returned to them not go to a local garage as you can if they have registered you with Warranty Wise. That entailed four 80 mile trips to deliver and collect next day. Later after they fixed the DPF warning it started billowing black smoke , coincidence, reported this and told not covered but they will fix "at mate's rates" . So another four 80 miles round trips after a week they called to say found the problem and were waiting for a part a vacuum solenoid. 6 day's later called to say pick it up Saturday morning it's all fixed and running sweet. Paid the £640 bill supposedly discounted to £440 a and drove home. Guess what at home it's billowing black smoke, lift the bonnet to find 1 The protective cover of the battery positive terminal missing exposing 4 heavy duty cable connections to getting shorted. 2 The rubber tube from the air filter to the inlet manifold hanging completely off the manifold. 3 One of the small sensor hose's from the air filter box to the AGR assembly also not replaced and hanging down. 4 Nut holding Turbo boost hose solid plastic section missing Second mount point broken at nut fixing point. 5 The solenoid which is low down at the back of the engine on the Turbo had been changed but by simply pulling of the 3 small tubes and electrical socket and connecting the new one to leave it dangling and bouncing around behind the Turbo. As this has certainly Not fixed anything put all the bits back on the correctly mounted original. I reported and sent photos to them and so far no one has replied, not surprised at that. Now I am booked in to diesel specialist for minimum 2 hour investigation at £95 per hour+ more if more extensive dismantling required. As no error codes appear, best guess is Injectors £1600 or Turbo £2000 or Camshaft worn £3/4000 or all of them.
