Returned Car the same day due to engine

I purchased a car from FLC which supposedly had a full service and MOT done the previous day. Within 20 miles the engine warning light came on, it started miss-firing and had diesel knock. My local garage reset the warning light but it came on again within 10 minutes. They did not seem very surprised when I asked to cancel the sale which says a lot The only good thing to say is that FLCV gave me a full refund without any issues but it still cost me a lot of time and money on vehicle tax.
