Not very happy

Just had my car serviced, and On the health check of my car recommended a new battery, when I said that the battery was fitted by themselves just over a year ago, they told me that it’s nothing wrong with the battery and the problem was the man washing my car left the lights and the radio on when washing the car. Why someone washing the car in daylight leaves the lights on? Likely story , I’m sure if I said ok they would have changed me for a new battery.
