We bought a BMW off a chap named Bradley Bailey of Stonebridge Vehicles, drove for 3 weeks and the turbo went. This happened 3 days after a full BMW service where lists of faults were brought to light (Obviously brad had NO idea there was anything suspect with the car). I took the car to the chap who had MOTed it to question how so many faults could arise within the space of a week of MOTing and that they all resemble (exactly) the issues that the car had on a previous MOT. He said it was his job to inspect the car and he felt that none of this issues were worth advising on an MOT. I will give you a moment to catch your breathe. Luckily we had bought a Warranty from Mr Bailey. But wait, the warranty did not cover the turbo and was only to the value of parts and labour for £750. Along with this being 2 days before my wedding, I had Bradley send a recovery truck to collect the car to be fixed. 6 WEEKS LATER! I finally get the car back, after NUMEROUS calls to Brad only to be fobbed off. The engine was in 50 pieces in the boot - on my cream interior I might add. The catalytic converter and filters magically disappeared. I contact Brad to tell him that he has breached his contract of sale and that we want our money back. A further 2 weeks on and I had no money and no car. I had called Brad EVERY day without response. After a month we had mechanics fix the car ourselves. At our own cost. I started my own legal proceedings to recover the money and won the case. Do you think he paid? oh no..... It then went on to have bailiffs attend his house and place of work. His company doesn’t hold any assets so they couldn’t recover from there and he refused them entry to his home 3 times. Then I applied for him to appear for questioning and bring along all his incomes and outgoing statements. He didn’t turn up. He was then served an order to attend a second time. He didn’t turn up. THEN the court ordered that he attend to explain why he wasn’t there the previous 2 times and wait for it…. He didn’t turn up. A warrant for his arrest and committal to prison for 7 days was issued before Christmas.I have spoken to the county court at Coventry this morning who have said that the warrant officer DID NOT ARREST HIM!!! And that they spoke to Brad and told him the he MUST go to court on 10 March at 11am otherwise the warrant will be reissued. I will be going to the court house then. I am SO ANGRY that i havent been told about ANY of this If Bradley Beiley still owes you money then please get in contact. laura_watkins86@yahoo.com I will gladly share what info I have got on the guy and help where I can. He owes me over £4000 and I WANT MY MONEY!!!
