Awful aftersales department

Our car was in for a small fix investigation a few weeks ago, we were told it could t be booked in to be fixed for a month but that we would still be ok to drive the car if we kept monitoring the levels and keeping them topped up. However we broke down due to this issue 2.5 hours away from home with 3 young children and were sat waiting for recorder for 5 hours into the early hours of the morning. Having contacted Allan Ford after this we were still told that it could not be fixed for weeks, leaving us with no car, as apparently they don’t provide courtesy cars either! Avoid, absolute shambles. The service manager was due to call us back regarding this and it’s still been 10 days. Shocking customer service
