Horrible experience
I was an existing customer and placed an order last November 2021 for a 208 GT Premium. I was told more than once that it was to be ready for collection around mid Feb 2022. In the time between my initial order and mid Feb I emailed the salesman twice, and left messages for him to call me back, which were all ignored. When I complained I was told that they tried to return my calls on “your other number”. I’ve since found out that my “other number” is my wife’s number?? She’s confirmed that she never received any calls. Besides, why no reply to my emails? So, mid February came and went with no sign of my new car and NO contact from Bristol Street, therefore I called them for an update, to be told that my car has been subject to a recall and will be delayed even further. Had I not called them I’d have not known about the recall. The sales Manager assured me by only a week or two. So, two weeks into March went by and still no communication, so I drove past Bristol Street on two separate occasions and saw brand new cars coming off a transporter to be prepared ready for collection by customers, but no sign of mine DESPITE me being told that my new car was 100% in the U.K. waiting to be delivered to the dealership. In between all of this my daughter ( who also is a current customer of Bristol Street Harlow) visited them with a view to ordering herself another car. My wife and I went with her. After about 10 minutes we was approached by a salesman. When my daughter told him why she was there he looked her up and down and asked us to give him a minute, then disappeared . After about 15 minutes, and hugely embarrassed my daughter asked me if we could go. Disgusting behaviour towards a current customer. By this time I’d had enough and last Friday picked up a new car from another dealership and another manufacturer. Bristol Street and Peugeot have lost another customer. Once the sale is done they couldn’t be less interested if they tried. Clowns.
