They don't care

Probably the worst company I've ever bought a car from. Bought a vw caravelle and have had nothing but problems. Turns out it was involved in an accident and hadn't been repaired properly but GMO cars wouldn't pick the car up, despite saying they would refund me fully and my delivery charges which it cost me to have the car delivered. I made over 100 phone calls and emails trying to sort this mess out. They kept sending me to back street garages to get it sorted after I threatened to take them to the ombudsman. In the end I got it sorted through a local garage with a good reputation. Then they refused to pay the garage I had used. I had to get the solicitors involved as you can see from the picture of the letter. I've redacted the address and name as I don't want family finding out. As soon as they heard the solicitors were involved they paid the garage for the repairs. If anyone wants to see all the correspondence between me and GMO cars get in touch and I'll email it over to you. 1. Only buy a car after you've inspected it, I made the mistake of listening to Mick, Kevin and Gary on the phone telling me how perfect the car was. 2. If you have an issues then make sure you take it to main dealers to sort it so you can bill the seller. 3. Always read the reviews. In this case all the reviews are from people who have only made one submission which is suspicious. People like myself who leave reviews to guide others have multiple reviews.
