Disgusting Service

I took my 2018 Peugeot Boxer to these people for an engine management light issue. They said bring it in and we will sort it out for you with our expert diagnostics team. So I took my van into them because they are my closest Peugeot Main Dealer and they promised to fix it the next day. Next they said they had found the problem with the van, it was the cooling fans seized up causing the fault so I will need new cooling fans costing £835.00 in total! Ok I said as they had sold 40 of these fans in the last 3 months so they said and it was a common problem but expensive problem! They fitted the fans and then contacted me saying it wasn't the fans but could be an ECU problem? They then wanted another £1200.00 for the ECU! After taking the fans to an independent garage they said there was nothing wrong with the fans and they worked perfectly so asked them to replace the original fans. The independent garage traced the fault to a broken wire in the fan wiring loom. So after nearly spending over 2K with these people it only cost me £300.00! £200.00 with these rip off merchants for their failed Peugeot diagnostics and wrongly fitted new fans and only £100.00 for the real fix! Do not take your Peugeot to these so called Peugeot Main Dealers!
