Car being repaired under insurance
Car was given to Ford in January. It is now April and I have still not had my car back. Whenever I call up the initial secretary picks up straight away. Yet when I get transferred to the bodyshop they never pick up. In the last 15 attempts at calling them, they have not picked up once. I have only managed to get through around 4 to 5 times in the 3 months they have had my car. They keep delaying and delaying when the car would be ready. When ever I ask they say they are waiting for a lower support for the front bumper for my Toyota they are fixing. I asked Toyota and they say the part has been in the UK for ages and can be delivered in 2 days so they have obviously been lying. The Courtesy car they provided was a tiny 1.0 Toyota Aygo. I gave them a 50k car and they give me that. I don't expect like for like but the lowest spec and cheapest car they could find is insulting. Just want my car fixed. 3 months is appalling which very little update. Have been speaking mainly to Anita Smith there who is useless. Supposed to email me Back on Friday to confirm a part has arrived. It is the following Monday and have only just now received a reply saying that the part hasn't turned up. The same part I confirmed with Toyota is a 2 day in stock part.
