Dishonest

I purchased a Skoda Yeti from Autosales Burntwood back in December 2017. It was sold as 'Approved Used', as new with just a few hundred miles on the clock. Fast forward to the beginning of 2022 and paint has started pealing from the roof and tailgate revealing bare metal. Admittedly the car is several years old but it has been well looked after and has only cover 25k miles so this should not happen. I turns out that the dealer used a 3rd party to carry out extensive paint repairs, something which invalidated the Skoda warranty. This was not disclosed to me and I am certain that I would not have bought the car if I had been told. I my mind this is a clear and deliberate act of misselling! I have approached the dealer. They are not willing to rectify the issue or even make a contribution towards my costs. If you are considering buying a new or used Skoda and you value honesty, integrity and customer service then I recommend that you take your business elsewhere.
