I bought myself a car remotely from Stockport Car Supermarket. I was attended to by Kat who was very professional. You can see they take reviews seriously because she went out of her way to explain the conditions, the fact that they are used cars, how and why you could lose your deposit. This level of transparency is rare and I'm very grateful for that. I was able to buy a car remotely. I was glad finally I sent a mechanic for an independent inspection (used clickmechanic) as they found an issue that the AA didn't but SCS fixed the problem quickly. All in all I found the process very efficient and everyone I spoke to friendly and helpful. One point to note is that free delivery within 300 miles is no longer policy but some sites like AutoTrader still say is it. The only additional feedback I'd give is that when the car arrived it looked like it could use a hoover and the tank was on empty. I was worried I might not make it to a petrol station. I'd be happy to pay for someone to deliver the car with a sensible amount of petrol in the tank to not have that worry. The car is is otherwise really fab and my experience in general has been great.
