I bought an Alfa Romeo from Car Select Birmingham and within 2 weeks I had realised that the gear box was shot, the speakers had blown, the tyre was punctured and the car was generally not got for my needs. To their credit, car select repaired the puncture but said that the rough gear change was a feature of the Alfa Romeo!!! They also said the speaker was fine. They said that if I was not happy, I could part exchange, bearing in mind that I'd had the car for two weeks, they depreciated the value of a 9k car by 2K! Disgraceful conduct. Since then, the start/stop has ceased to work and the car chugs for 3 seconds each time I start it. It's still only 3 months old.
