Bought an Audi. Had 2 years and gearbox had issue took into specialist who informed me that the car had a gearbox repair previously and was bodged and that has caused the box to be destroyed and beyond repair. I bought this car cos the garage says it has WarrantyWise cover. However what I did not realise is this is just a cover and they only take the Garages word the car is in good condition that actually run no checks on the car at all so dealer can lye on condition of car to get cover. They state they only sale the best yet when I asked why the car had never been checked over when I complained to dealer he told me they do not do that with there cars hence how u can miss a gearbox repair to a car in the 1st place. But I have also found out that the dealer had a mechanic change the clutch to this car and I was not informed of this when buying the car. I was told it was in excellent condition obv not if it had a gear box repair. Lied to! This garage would have known about gearbox repair but did not say as it would have been a put of and I would not have bought! I also have a hand over sheet where it’s ticked that the car was checked before hand over but it obv wasn’t as the car had a battery issue that had to be done under warranty witch refused to pay at 1st till dealer contacted them. So I should have known then that dealer didn’t do checks stay away or have cars checked straight away to make sure hasn’t been bodged repairs to gearbox that will the cause problems later!
