Outrageous Workshop Customer Service

i20 has a windscreen wiper fault, earliest appointment 2 weeks away, That in it's self is bad enough, £75 just to diagnose fault, car taken in on Friday, fault confirmed that the wiper motor requires replacing, customer service quote for the cost of replacement motor £150 +Vat, plus fitting, ok. Then told that wiper motor cannot be fitted as they close in an hour, after a brief chat, they say they can fit it Saturday, OK. Then a phone call Saturday morning to say that we had been miss quoted, the Wiper Motor cost was actually £507.00 and car would not be back until Tuesday, this is unbelievable, who are they employing that make horrendous mistakes like this, this is unforgivable. I was unwilling to be taken for a ride by Richmond Hyundai, I asked not to carry out the repair after the outrageous miss quote and that I would be taking it else wear for repair. Also I told them the engine management light had come on, they cleared the fault, said it was an old error code, on asking what was the fault code, no answer, I also had the TPS light come on, they said it was a nail in the tyre which they claimed to have repaired, needless to say when I picked the car up at mid day today, the TPS light was still on. Our family have purchased 4 cars from Richmond Hyundai, needless to say we will not be returning after this appalling service and attitude towards it's customers.
