Don't Bother
Service visit for routine troubleshooting, which took 3 weeks and I had to chase constantly as updates were not provided and calls not returned. Went to collect the car having been told it was fixed. Paid £1000. Got in the car to drive home, only to find it was not fixed. Left it with them for another 2 weeks. Brought it home for a week, covered about 15 miles, then it sprang a coolant leak in the same area of the engine which was worked on previously. Booked it back in and 3 days later it is still sat there untouched. Never been offered a loaner. They book 100 cars in when they know they can only work on 20 in a day. And either they give everyone the totally crap service I got, or I am discriminated against for not having a brand new car, I'm not sure which. Doesn't matter if you give them weeks of notice, you still won't get the car back the same day, no matter how minor the work required is. Their rubbish service is a key factor in whether I even consider buying another BMW.
