Dreadful
Purchased a vehicle online due to covid restrictions. Frank was reluctant to converse via text, probably because this meant everything is in writing. I asked about condition of vehicle and was informed there were no issues. I asked specifically about interior and, again, was reassured there were no issues. I viewed the images supplied to Autotrader and all appeared well. I arranged to have vehicle transported to me. On arrival I noted the passenger door and rear panel had had a poor repair with a quick dusting on spraycan paint just enough to fool the photos. Inside was a cut or tear to the rear seat. After a few days and about 20 miles total useage a noise, now diagnosed as first motion shaft bearings, appeared. Frank was not interested in me any more. He tried to palm me off with his equally dodgy (but dealer beneficial) scam warranty company Handler Protect who, if you read Trustpilot reviews, refuse clims left right and centre. Frank claims to be innocent in all this yet he alone failed to comply with consumer law by refusing to accept the responsibility and liability he carries as a dealer. Thats okay Frank; County Court action (probably not the first) arriving on your doorstep very soon unless you wish to start playing ball. I wonder what lies he will conjure up to defend himself on this site. I, however, hold the absolute truth - the car he sold me. Any TV investigative journalist is invited to view it for themselves.
