Wastes Your Time!

Rang the day after a car was listed. Asked a few questions, told it's still very much available. I called back 2 hours later and said I wanted to leave a deposit. Dave said to me it was 20% which I said was fine. Tells me he will text me over his bank details for me to pay. I recieve a text telling me he is out so will message me them later with bank details... 2 hours later he tells me "Bad news got back to find my Buisness partner had sold to a cold caller". Didn't even have the courtesy of calling me. I had organised a day off work, booked train tickets to get down, even cancelled a deposit I had on a car in Peterborough which I was told was refundable but they wouldn't give me it back so sat on the phone to Lloyds for an hour raising a dispute to perform a chargeback - all off the back of the false promise of the car being sold to me. What a waste of my time.
