A Dire Experience
What is it about Mercedes dealerships that makes them behave with such arrogance even when the have failed the customer. My car had a 5 year service plan that was bought and paid for in advance. On the 5th anniversary or 60k miles the gearbox oil should be changed as a servicable item. They obviouisy failed to do and tried to charge me once the service plan had expired. Then they create a scene and cause a big argument and to cap it all once they eventually did the gearbox service they recorded incorrect mileage on the didital service record. This after setting a reminder for a B service when an A service was the next one due. Finally the completed the paperwork for the old registration number rather than the current one that is recorded with the car by DVLA. They claim it doesnt matter so I will show their email to the police the next time they pull me over. I can imagine their reaction when I show them an email wher MBclaim they are above the law. It is fair to say the local garage give better service and appreciates the custom while the MB people flounder in their undeniable incompetence.
