3 months of trouble!!
I put a deposit down on an ex mobility Caddy Maxi 1.9 on 12/10/21, This type of vehicle was necessary for my wheelchair bound son. I was due to collect vehicle on 16/10/21. Just prior to collection I was advised it had a developed a fault… After repeated calls over the last 3 months & being advised the car was being dealt with, I was finally told in January 2022, that it STILL had the original fault. I cancelled my order and requested my deposit back. They have now repaid the deposit by cheque (I’d paid them immediately by Visa!) Unfortunately I’d also insured the vehicle for the 3 months I was awaiting the car. Today I have been told they’re ‘not liable’ for the 3 monthly insurance payments I’d made on the car - a car I have NEVER taken possession of - although their staff were aware that the vehicle was insured ready for the original collection date!!! I’d say avoid at all costs, take your money elsewhere!!
