An unhappy customer

I decided to purchase my Volvo as it looked very good, but over priced. They did reduce the price by £100 as my wife was going to be travelling down from the North East to pick up the car (I was working). They agreed to do a service and get the MOT. Once the service came back it stated that the tyres were getting to the limit, however this wasn't disclosed until my wife arrived on the day. On the day they were aggressive towards my wife, and said it was our fault for not checking the tyres properly. Yes, this is maybe is correct but the advertisement did state that the tyres were in excellent condition. The staff were aggressive on the day, and although I was prepared to walk away, my wife had travelled and needed the car. At one point they refused to sell the car and said she can make her way back, unless I wrote an email saying everything was fine, and I wouldn't complain. When we got back I took it to get a service to find that the rear shock needed replacing and the oil hadn't been replaced in the service. These cars are highly polished to make them look nicer and better than they actually are. The staff are aggressive and full of typical used car salesman crap. They're not good representatives of the used car industry. I probably wouldn't have left this feedback, but as it looks like they have changed the name to Used Car Co. Yorkshire, it better to make people aware what they are dealing with. Avoid at all costs.
