Brief summary, not great service.

Turned up today to view a couple of cars. Phoned previously to say which one and was told it would be ready when we arrived. It wasn't. Went inside to be 'greeted' by someone sat at their desk who couldn't even be bothered to stand up and do the basics of saying "Hello." Never introduced himself and never bothered with who we were. Got straight down to business and asked for the usual details to tick the compliance boxes. I was the decision maker and was totally ignored in favour of my partner who was talking. Brought the car for a test drive, handed us the keys and told us he'd see us when we got back. Took the test drive, back to be told the other car was ready for a test drive. Drove the other car, came back and had to walk back in and approach an uninterested sales person who couldn't even be bothered to look up from his computer. Told him we weren't interested and he had the cheek to ask if there was anything he could do to get our business today. He never actually done anything in the first place but hand us some keys. No meet or greet, no qualification, no demo of the car, no questions when we arrived back and absolutely no interest in us whatsoever. I only knew the guys name was Matthew when he handed us his card when we were leaving. I don't ask for much as we done our own homework but the very minimum I would expect when looking at an £8k car would be for the 'salesperson' to ask my name and introduce himself. I had better customer service from the cleaner in McDonalds 10 minutes after we left Arnold Clark. We were genuinely interested but if someone can't even be bothered standing up and saying hello then it's not a place I would ever buy from. I would be more than happy to speak to the branch manager if you would like more feedback. Thanks.
