When I first viewed my purchase I was told it's V5 and MOT were at the DVLA. A phone call to the DVLA and a HPI check revealed that this was not the case, in fact it's MOT had expired one month earlier. Yet when I contacted TCR with this information a day later they insisted that it had an MOT and the V5 was still at the DVLA. When I collected my purchase it had been given a new MOT and I was told that TCR would send the V5 to the DVLA, something which they did not do, despite numerous phone calls from myself to remind them. I had to apply for a new V5 in my name by paying a £25 fee. When driving my purchase home I noticed that the clutch was slipping and it had a very dangerous fault causing the ABS to fail. These faults were not noticed during my brief test drive within an urban area. I was able to claim under the warranty for the more dangerous fault though obviously the clutch wasn't covered. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a car from TCR Vehicle Contracts to reconsider!
