Rude service department. Brought my car in for a service and 36 hours later they tell me they still haven’t looked at it. Go to pick up the keys and nobody knows who’s got them. After being given the run around, I end up at the service department who claim they’ve not got them. At this point I’m getting irritated and after a worker speaks to another worker it turns out they do have them. After about 10 minutes another worker turns up with the keys, I ask for them to be handed over. She refuses to do this claiming a diagnostic test has been run and that this isn’t covered by the warranty. I advise that’s not my understanding and has not been agreed to in any communications. I ask again for the keys to be handed over which she refuses to do unless I pay. I ask to see the manager and instead of getting the manager they bring out a sales assistant. The manager does finally turn up but we’re getting nowhere. I have to pay them for no reason to hand my keys back. I will be lodging a formal complaint to Johnson’s Cars.
