moments ago Unprepared, unorganised Called up to enquire about a white Mazda in October. Mentioned I was driving 2.5 hours view it and even double confirmed just before I left incase the vehicle was already sold and to save a wasted journey. Arrived there and they had to jump start the car as the battery was dead and there was barely any diesel in the car to take it for a safe test drive. Unprepared considering I had told them twice I was arriving to view it and pretty careless if I must say. The steering wheel was a good 30 degrees off and they blamed it on tracking with made me think two things - 1) why didn’t they sort it if it was a simple case of tracking for pre sale and 2) seems very fishy just for tracking considering how badly the steering wheel was pulling to the left. Then tried to convince me to pay a £200 deposit to get it sorted to pick up. No way was I going to do this. Nice guys but unorganised and careless, particularly when looking at buying new cars and potentially spending thousands on something that’s not even prepared properly for pre sale. Those are basic things you’d expect from a car dealership surely. If you’re driving miles for a viewing just be wary. Anonymous
