Dangerous to not buy!

To sum it up we bought my sister a Corsa for first car and when it arrived it was night time (conveniently) and we bought the car, 10 mins later me and my sister went for her first drive in it and while driving the car suddenly wouldn't go into gear and when it did it would slip out, this car would not have it in any gear! unless you turn car on and off a few times it works for a short drive then does it again, we was on a hill about to set off when the car refused to go into second and stalled causing me to have to pull handbrake up and put hazards on and was stuck trying to get it into gear for 5 mins before it finally worked and had to drive at 10mph all way home! they came back which was nice of the driver and apparently it all worked for him which again sometimes it will but he took the car all way back for repairs so must of known it was an issue or why take our word when it drives perfect for him? they ended up bringing it back with it "fixed" and after work my sister drove the car home at night and the cars gearbox completely packed up at 60mph on a dual carriageway she's in tears and we had to go recover the car again, like everything listed below there is no way this car is road worthy or passed an MOT or inspection, as much as the guy was nice and polite i sadly cannot overlook the fact you sold us a dangerous dive of a car and now my sister is petrified of driving and wont even sit in that car now and we've got two qualified opinions from mechanics who both say this car would not pass an MOT! i know who they used to MOT it and its tempting to review them too but i cant say for 100% sure what happened so i wont review them but in my opinion they have a friends garage who does backstreet MOTs for them as again this car is so dangerous an MOT centre following DVSA and being responsible would not pass this car and its tempting to put it through an MOT but why should we pay £60 for an MOT just to prove a point we know already but maybe we will for when it goes to court to prove the MOT is forged too so we'll see. - Bodywork looks like its been stoned to death in middle of town - Wings and bumpers hanging off - Bonnet sticking up, front wiper arms bent so dont even touch the screen - Front fog light missing and all bumper cracked - Wiper arms don't even have blades on them so plastic scraping your windows - Heater only works on number 4 setting meaning its either no heater at all or full blast air! - Drivers seat moves when you brake - Parts of window trim hanging off - Bonnet catch missing (owner did add one on returning car but still) - Gaps between all bodywork are not equal and dont line up - No spare tyre or jack - No matts except a back one - Rattling noise on acceleration - Car wont go into any gear or if it does it slips out of gears (after their "fix" the gearbox completely packed up on way home) - Brake light out as well as number plate lights Only good thing about the car is the tyres which are probably the original ones and not put on by these lot, there is no way this car passed an MOT as we took it to our mechanic as well as a second opinion two days after who once they saw the state of it they didn't even charge for the checks! car has all sorts wrong with it so they sold us not only a dangerous car but highly illegal, long review but hope it helps people as this garage is a utter disgrace, my sister is scared to drive now and that car belongs in a scrap yard not for sale and they clearly knew it was an issue which firstly they denied then he said oh it was actually doing it for me on way to yours (delivery driver), disgusting and we'll be taking them to court as well as having them investigated by trading standards as well as the MOT centre who signed this car off as safe, we've not even done 12 mile in this car and its almost caused two accidents and you know a car is bad when its been broke down for 11 of those 12 miles!, disgrace to think there is people out there knowingly putting death traps on the roads for money and its funny how they keep ads up after you've bought the car which again just tells me they know there is issues with them and keep ads up just in case you refund so they dont have to pay relisting fee! Conclusion (refused refund and ignoring us): Please do not buy a car from this garage! we had to rush buy this car due to my sister needing a car ASAP for work and didn't expect this from a garage but now we wont be making that mistake again! At first they was all nice and saying sorry and they'll collect the car but never did, their "recovery guys" are just people who work at the garage in my opinion as there is no recovery vehicle just a man driving, got told "recovery" was on way all night and never turned up so at 7pm we phoned the recovery guy who stated the garage apparently hasn't asked or spoke to him about fetching this car 60 miles away and now their all refusing to answer phone, will be taking them to court as well as trading standards and having them and the MOT garage investigated and if that fails well we'll see not we as we aint being sold a dangerous car and being left with it put it that way and looking at reviews it seems others have been denied refunds and took them to court which we will make them aware of too, anyone who's been sold a lemon by this garage dont just let them have the money take them to small claims! i have managed to find multiple names they go under some being Platinum Car Sales, MAXX car sales, Billy's Car Sales, they seem to sell a bunch of junk then get a lot of people wanting refunds then change garage name to avoid legal action, they also respond to reviews saying they've taken over from the "old garage" aka they just change name and make out its the previous people doing all of this! do not believe them. Also when they came back to take the car for repair literally two hours after they delivered it they had to leave a Peugeot they bought to sell at their garage on my drive to take the Corsa back and the state of it...tells me 100% they just buy bangers and then add money on top and sell them people....it had no MOT and failed on 16 things and they drove it to mine and left it there then drove it back with no MOT and even now its up for sale on their site with no MOT and tons of faults! "The Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you the right to ask for a full refund in the first 30 days after buying any product that proves to be faulty, including a new or used car." they've broken this act by refusing the refund within not even 3 days of purchase, we'll get our money back and now it will be my mission to make everyone aware of this garage, very long review as i wanted to make sure i covered everything, if you still choose to buy a car after all of this ^ more fool you and they also have adverts up still advertising a car thats no longer there's as they had the pleasure of selling the lemon to us.
