Terrible Service From Mercedes

I did purchase a CLA180 Mercedes from this dealership in 2019 and was happy with it except waiting 2 years for warranty work to be done (after the first time it went in for the same issue) which actually never got done but COVID did play a part in this. I did part ex this car back to them. So Where do I Start with my next purchase from this Dealership. Viewed a C43, liked it but the Rear Spoiler was a bit naff, so the Salesperson said they will put the original back on, which they did and does look better. During the sale it was Never mentioned to me about their fee that they charge for buying a car from them 🤨🤨🤨. I did know about it so wasn’t shocked when seen it. So Picked up the Car in August and no issues. This is where it goes down hill rapidly. 1. After a day or two I Noticed that the Boot was a different shade of white to the rest of the car, then found some overspray on the back window and a touch on the back light. At no point when I picked up the Car I was told that the Boot was resprayed it was only when I approached the Dealership and asked them. They confirmed that it had been resprayed. The Car is Metallic Designo White. Took the Car back and spoke with a member of the dealership and was told that this colour goes off in Sunlight and I should leave the Car in The Sunlight so the Boot will eventually match the rest of the car 🤨🤨🤨🤨, not what you want to hear from a High End Car Brand. The car did go back in for a respray but a tad better but still see the difference. So I mentioned still see the difference but then was told that what ever they do I wouldn’t be happy with and they won’t do anymore🤬🤬. 2. Mentioned that a Garage had advised that the brake pads and discs all round would require replacing due to squeaking noises. Again mentioned this to a Salesperson and they said that is what Service departments do try to get money out of you. As this was from a Mercedes Main Dealer who advised the Brakes to be changed and then the salesperson says that they just try to get money out of you. It doesn’t Bow well for Mercedes. They did look at the brakes, cleaned them but still squeaking but told that they are within Mercedes Tolerances. 3. Mentioned that there is a rattle on start up and around certain Revs, was told that they all do this. But the other reason I was told (this is priceless, couldn’t make it up if I tried) is that there are 2 extra injectors (6 instead of 4😲😲😲) this is why there is a rattle. To be honest the V8 must rattle like mad as they have an extra 4 injectors😂😂. They did say I could reject the Car which then they said they would put up for more money and sell to someone who don’t know about the issue with the paintwork. The problem with rejecting the car is that the money I would of got back, paid off the Loan and what I was left with wouldn’t of even bought my old car back from them as I would of been £4K short of their asking price for my old car. I hope this post is helpful to other people looking at buying from this Dealership.
