Poor customer service faulty cars

Mercedes have told me my car has a mileage descrepency without providing any evidence to back their claim. They also informed me it's not possible for them to trace when this happened? These cars are on mercedes me so how is this not possible! Or it doesn't concern them as theres no financial incentive. I purchased the car in good faith from a large independent car dealer who insists the mileage was verified by themselves when the car was sold to me at 31k in November 2019. So simply put the person that loses in this whole ordeal is the consumer. Now mercedes have put a red flag on my vehicle meaning further depreciation to my vehicles value. However they refused to provide any evidence based on their claim so this can't be disputed with the dealership I purchased the car from. There is a 3.5k bill to carry out the repairs wich according to the Mercedes technician is a common fault in these new Mercedes vehicles wich usually would be entitled to goodwill payment due to a manufacturing defect. However on the basis my mileage is incorrect they won't cover it and I have no way of raising a dispute with the car dealer I purchased the car from. In other words even if this happened within the warranty period this would not be covered. This is the last mercedes I will ever own!
